In a peaceful town, a young boy named Russ Halsey was known for his playful nature. Russ, or Russell Halsey, was always finding himself in different kinds of predicaments at school.

One clear and cheerful morning, Russ decided to play a prank on his classmates. He hid a rubber spider in the teacher’s desk. When Mr. Smith, the kind and patient teacher, opened the cabinet, she let out a small scream, making the whole class burst into laughter.

One day, Russ brought his pet frog to school. He showed it to his friends during recess, and all the kids were amazed. They called the frog Jumper.
